Chiesa di San Teodoro e Collegio dei Gesuiti

Built in the sixteenth century, the church was modernized in the mid-nineteenth century on the initiative of the sisters Concetta and Francesca Grimaldi, last descendants of the princely branch of the Grimaldi family. They also founded the adjoining convent for use by the Jesuits, with the explicit proviso that the second Jesuit College (after that of Modica Bassa) should be founded here, in order to educate the population of the upper part of the city. On the facade remains the Grimaldi emblem.
